About Lorna

Lorna Freytag is a mixed-media artist based in Oban on the north-west coast of Scotland. She works with pressed flowers and natural materials to explore how nature is controlled, standardised, and reshaped.

Her practice combines traditional flower pressing with modular formats and shapes, forcing organic matter into systems of repetition and order.
