Working with pressed flowers I create human forms, to explore the connection between people and nature. It’s important in my work not to choose just perfectly coloured, beautifully formed flowers. I like to use flowers that are brown, faded or imperfect, to remind myself that there is beauty in ageing and to embrace change.
