Floral Flags

This series reimagines nautical and national flags using delicate, hand-pressed flowers—softening symbols traditionally tied to power, territory, communication and control. By replacing bold, permanent emblems with fragile, impermanent blooms, the work questions ideas of ownership and man-made dominance over land and sea. Each flower is collected and pressed by hand, embracing natural imperfections. These flags become gentle reflections on connection, peace, and the quiet beauty of place beyond possession. Nature has no borders.
